Girdles, Girdles, Girdles!

I'm working on a paper girdle to enter into a show in Colorado called "Bras, Bangles & Bunions". The show highlights the impact of fashion on women's bodies and society. Girdles are really hard to do-and, apparently, very uncomfortable too. I found some old garters in my mother-in-law's sewing box. I'm debating about using the real ones or replicating them in paper and cardboard. Hopefully, it will be done in time to enter.
